A free AI phone call from your own number.
Updated August 16, 2026
Most “free AI phone call” results are the inverse of this product: a number you dial so you can talk to ChatGPT, Claude, or another model. Useful, but it does not call the restaurant, the clinic, or the landlord for you.
DialMCP is the other direction. It is a hosted remote MCP server that lets the assistant you already use place a real outbound call from your own SMS-verified number. During launch it is free of charge — no API key, no credit card, no per-minute bill from us.
What you get at $0
- A hosted remote MCP endpoint at
https://mcp.dialmcp.com/mcp(Streamable HTTP + OAuth). - SMS verification that binds your US or Canadian mobile number as caller ID. No spoofed or rotating pool numbers.
- One real outbound call at a time, with hold, IVR navigation, and a human conversation when someone answers.
- A structured outcome, turn-by-turn transcript, and a signed recording link via
get_call. - Server-enforced disclosure, calling-hour windows, rate limits, and a public opt-out. These stay on even though the product is free. See Safety.
Remote clients do not install anything. Stdio-only clients can use the MIT-licensed dialmcp-connector bridge.
What “free” is not
- Not unlimited. 1 concurrent call, 3 per hour, 10 per day, and at most 2 per day to the same destination. Default 6 minutes, 10-minute hard cap.
- Not worldwide. US and Canada only, 8:00–21:00 in the destination’s local time.
- Not a standalone phone app. You connect Claude, Cursor, Codex, ChatGPT connectors, Gamut, or another MCP client. That client may have its own price. DialMCP is the phone, not the model. Compare shapes on AI phone call app vs. agent.
- Not a call-center blast dialer. Telemarketing, cold outreach, surveys, lead generation, debt collection, political outreach, and robocalling are prohibited.
- Not a promise that it stays $0. Launch pricing is the pilot. If paid plans ship, existing users get notice first.
Place a free call
-
Connect DialMCP. Point your client at
https://mcp.dialmcp.com/mcp, or runnpx dialmcp-connector. Steps: install and client setup. - Verify your number. The first connect opens a browser OAuth flow. After the SMS code, that number is caller ID. OAuth and phone verification.
-
Ask for one concrete errand. Destination plus objective —
“Call +1-555-0100 and ask when the prescription is ready.” The agent uses
place_call. -
Read the result. Poll
get_callfor a resolution (achieved/partially_achieved/not_achieved), summary, transcript, and recording.

Free AI phone call vs. calling an AI
If you wanted to speak to a model from any handset, use a product built for that — 1-800-ChatGPT and similar “call the AI” lines. DialMCP will not answer a number you dial. It places the outbound call your agent requested.
If you wanted a dedicated “type a task, we call the business” website or app, those exist too, some with a free trial. DialMCP is for people who already live in an MCP client and want that session to use a real phone, with a caller ID the other person can call back.
Start free
Connect the endpoint, verify your number once, and ask your assistant to place the call. Free during launch. US and Canada.
